VISION
Bassoon player Marieke voor de Wind and I met in June 2008 on a musical 'blind date', set up by a tenor player. After two sessions, we decided to move on together and since then, creativity is flowing.
Vision in its most pure form is: taking our instruments and play, whoever wants to start starts, the other joins in, and at some point the improvisation will get to an end. We'll wake up, time stands still for a second, and something will have happened in the air around us, within us, and hopefully in the listener as well.
Possibilities also include playing on a theme, in a certain mode, or with a visual artist (e.g. a painter, a dancer, or a VJ).
